About Hotel Qaanaaq

Our small hotel is situated in the community of Qaanaaq in Northwest Greenland only 1497 kilometres from the North Pole. Our hotel offers breathtaking views of Inglefield Bay with its countless icebergs. The hotel has six double rooms, a dining room, and a comfortable lounge where you can relax amongst our collection of polar books and artefacts from the local Inuit culture.

The area is rich in history of both polar exploration and Inuit culture. A visit to the local museum, which is set inside the famous explorer Knud Rasmussen’s house, is a must. Qaanaaq also offers a variety of activities ranging from hiking in the beautiful Arctic nature to dog-sled trips across frozen sea to visit outlying villages.

Whatever your requirements, we will do our best to fulfill them.

You can be sure of a friendly welcome at Hotel Qaanaaq. We hope to see you soon!
